Nicholas Muellner, associate professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography and Media Arts, and Charles Woodard '09, a Film, Photography & Visual Art major, were recently published.

The Photograph Commands Indifference features photographs & text by Nicholas Muellner (with design by Gerry Beegan). This book is a personal, historical, and philosophical inquiry into the relationship between photographs and monuments.

The History of Photography in Pen & Ink features illustrations by Charles Woodard. In this set of forty-three pen & ink line drawings, Woodard levels the history of photography through his own unique brand of stylistic primitivism.

Mead Loop, associate professor in the Department of Journalism, teamed up with sophomore journalism major Maura Gladys to conduct research on the credibility and practices of the reporters who cover fantasy sports -- the first such research of its kind in the country.

Their work is featured in the December issue of Quill magazine, the national publication of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Zachary Tomanelli '11, a journalism major, had an article published in Sporting Kid magazine's fall 2008 issue. The article, entitled "Wanted: Trustworthy Volunteers," deals with embezzlement in youth sports leagues. Tomanelli wrote the article for his journalism research class, which required students to write a 20-page, magazine-style article on a topic of their choice.
