The Park Design House is a collaborative project between the Park School of Communications and the Office of Marketing Communications. Launched in spring 2007, PDH allows students to gain real-life client and design experience.

Once a project has been assigned, the PDH student will be the client’s main point of contact and project manager from the initial client meeting until handing over the project to Marketing Communications for printing. Designers are paid a flat rate per project and design. Supervision and advice are available through the Park School and Marketing Communications.

Students are recruited at the beginning of each semester, and must submit a sample project from specifications given. Designers are chosen for PDH based on their professionalism in working with a client, their design skills and creativity, and the ability to correctly package their work for printing.

If you are a student interested in PDH, please contact Melissa Gattine. If you are interested in hiring a design student, please contact your Marketing Communications Manager.
