Finance (B.S.)

The Bachelor of Science in Finance provides students the knowledge, experiences, and skills needed for careers in the financial services industry. The BS in Finance is distinguished by its strong experiential components, faculty members’ industry experience, and direct connections to the industry through alumni engagement. Courses will ensure that you gain experience and stay current in this rapidly changing industry.

You may explore widely in the finance field, or you can select an optional concentration in Asset Management or Wealth Management. This enables you to tailor your course choices to prepare for specific career paths in finance in areas where Ithaca College has a long track record of successful placements for internships and employment.

The program features a streamlined business core (shared by all majors in the School of Business), with a mix of 2- and 4-credit courses that balance cutting-edge courses with others designed to equip you with fundamental skills in finance.

You’ll benefit from sufficient flexibility to explore across the liberal arts and other professional fields. The purpose of this degree is to educate broadly minded finance professionals.
