The Colloquium features scholarly presentations by Ithaca College faculty and staff, in a supportive and inclusive environment. The 2007-2008 series showcases work that has an international focus.
Open to all, the colloquia are during the Thursday noontime open hour, from 12:10 to 1:00 pm. Most are in the Cayuga Lake room of the Campus Center. Coffee and light refreshments are provided and people are encouraged to bring their lunch.

John Scott, Assistant Professor of Television and Radio
TVR faculty member John Scott made a feature length video documentary on his friend John Stiles called
Scouts Are Cancelled – and found out one day after its debut at the Hot Docs Documentary Film
Festival in Toronto that the friendship might be over. This talk reveals and explores some of the
ethical dilemmas common to the video documentary.
