Ed Tech Day 2009 will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009. Vendor registration information will be posted here in late December 2008, and participant registration will start in mid January 2009.
Welcome to the Educational Technology Day 2008 Web site. We hope that you will join us for our 18th annual Educational Technology Day at Ithaca College on Thursday, March 27th from 9am to 4pm in the Ithaca College campus center.
This Web site provides you with all the information you need to find out more about Ed Tech Day, register as a participant or vendor, see what's new, or learn more about the vendors and others who will be at the show.
Educational Technology Day is a regional technology event that attracts over 1,600 people annually from the upstate New York region. It features local and national vendors such as Adobe, Apple Computer, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, SunGard SCT, and many others.
While one of the primary audiences for the event is the higher education community, the event is open to all, and there is plenty of information that is of interest to the K-12 and business communities. At the event you'll be able to talk directly with major computer and technology vendors, explore educational applications, be dazzled by computer graphics and state of the art audio-visual systems, learn how technology is being used today in and outside of higher education, and see what can be expected in the coming years.

Although there is no charge to attend the event, we do require that people from outside Ithaca College register. By pre-registering and picking up your name badge on the day of the event you also get entered into a drawing for a special prize (last year it was an iPod - this year's prize is still TBD). Stop by the giveaway booth in the College Showcase area between 9am and 3pm on Ed Tech Day to register. No purchase is necessary, but some restrictions do apply - please see the entry form for complete details. ...and a special thanks to Dell for once again being so supportive of our efforts!
We're also giving away an Apple iPod Shuffle - simply pre-register for Ed Tech Day and when you pick up your nametag on the day of the event we'll enter you in the drawing for an iPod Shuffle (see details on the registration page).
