There are more LGBT characters on TV than ever before. The cover of Entertainment Weekly recently declared "How Glee is leading TVs gay-teen revolution." Is there a a revolution? If so, is everyone included? Come contribute to a discussion of what's going right, what's going wrong, who the characters are that you love to watch, and who would be the characters you want to see in the future? Wednesday, September 7, 4 pm in the Handwerker Gallery on campus.

For the 2010-11 academic year, the Handwerker Gallery has brought in an assistant director, Erika Fowler-Decatur, while Cheryl Kramer is on quarter-time status enjoying time with her newborn son.

In Loving Memory
Dorothy Handwerker, without whose generosity the Gallery would not be the vibrant place it is today, passed away on June 2, 2009. We remember her spirit and her passion for art. Click here to read Dorothy's obituary.

The Handwerker Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of "Water Theory: New Installation Works by Megan Roberts and Raymond Ghirardo" on February 26, with an opening reception from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Thursdays at the Handwerker is pleased to present an evening of newly composed Valentine's Day music based on poems written by Ithaca College students. "My [not so] Funny Valentine" will be held at the Handwerker Gallery on February 12 at 6:30 p.m.
