Occupational Therapy Program Granted Accreditation

The five-year entry-level masterís degree program in occupational therapy has been awarded first-time accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.

Roger Richardson Named Multicultural Affairs Director

The founding director of an office that promotes multicultural initiatives at New York University has been appointed director of Ithaca Collegeís Office of Multicultural Affairs. Roger Richardson will begin his new duties on a full-time basis on April 3.

Distinguished Visiting Writers Series Continues

Joy Williams, whose first novel was nominated for a National Book Award and whose nonfiction has appeared in many prominent periodicals, will visit the College as the second author in the writing programís Distinguished Visiting Writers Series.

The third annual Ithaca College Winter Guitar Festival ó a daylong affair of workshops, performances, and a guitar exposition ó will be held Saturday, February 5, at the James J. Whalen Center for Music.

Edgar Meyer to Perform at Ithaca College

Double bassist Edgar Meyer, a master of classi- cal, jazz, and bluegrass music, will appear on Thursday, February 10, to play both selections from the classical bass repertoire and his own compositions.

Ithaca College is making it easier for visitors to attend events and meetings on campus during weekday working hours.

 

'Living with AIDS' Talk Slated

The annual "Living with AIDS" panel discussion at Ithaca College will take place on Tuesday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Don Collins, associate professor of accounting, will be held on Friday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. in Muller Chapel.
