Class of 2004 Welcomed at Convocation Ceremony

Members of the incoming class joined with trustees, faculty, and staff in Ben Light Gymnasium on Monday, August 28, as the annual Convocation ceremony officially kicked off the new academic year.

New Lecture and Performance Series to Focus on Music of the African Diaspora

Ithaca College will open a yearlong lecture and performance series, "Reverberations: Music of the African Diaspora," with three exciting offerings in September.

Upcoming Events to Focus on Unity

Bringing the College community together will be the theme of three September events. The activities, sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Diversity Awareness Committee, and the Office of First Year Programs and Orientation, are free and open to the public.

 
 

Incoming Students Plunge into Community Service

Before they took their first class, more than 100 incoming students pitched in to volunteer their services to local agencies. Now in its third year, the Community Plunge program brought new students to campus early to participate in prearranged community service projects in the Ithaca area.
