Eric Lears '03 wins paper competition

Eric Lears '03, a Park Scholar and an organizational communication, learning and design major, was recognized as the winner of the Annual Call for Papers Competition by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Research Foundation.

The competition's purpose is to focus on current issues in business communication, awarding the winning author a $1,000 monetary award. His scholarly paper "Implementing Weblogs in Organization" addresses new media as a communication tool in organizational communication. It was one of several student submitted pieces in the annual competition. His paper is posted on the IABC Research Foundation's website.
