The Ithaca College Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform a free program of vocal and instrumental jazz on Monday, December 8.

The concert will begin at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall in the Whalen Center.

In addition, the band will perform instrumental selections. Program offerings will range from popular standards such as Give Me the Simple Life and You Go to My Head to a Ghanaian chant arranged by Walter White, the newest member of the School of Music's jazz faculty, and Corcovado, a selection from Paquito D'Rivera's 2003 Latin Grammy Award-winning album, Brazilian Dream. Additional offerings will be music written by Jerome Kern and arranged by Steve Brown, Dana Wilson, and Robinson-Keegan.
