Former FBI Profiler Gregg McCrary '67 to Speak in Textor

Gregg O. McCrary '67 will give a public lecture titled, "FBI Profiling of the Criminal Mind," on Monday, March 1, 2004, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in Textor 102. The event is free and open to the public, BUT SPACE IS LIMITED!

McCrary was an FBI agent for over 25 years, retiring as Supervisory Special Agent at the famed Behavioral Science Unit in Quantico, Virginia. He has consulted on cases involving the Scarborough Rapist, Green River Killers, and Sam Sheppard.

McCrary, who conducted more than 1,000 criminal investigations during his 25 years in the bureau, will take us inside the process of profiling and criminal investigative analysis. His book, The Unknown Darkness: Profiling the Predators Among Us, will be available for sale ($25) and autographing.

McCrary has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and Larry King Live. He continues to investigate violent crimes and provide expert testimony and media commentary worldwide. McCrary received his undergraduate degree in music from Ithaca College in 1967.
