On September 21, at 4:00 p.m., in Clark Lounge, Joshua Rubenstein, the Northeast Director of Amnesty International, will speak about the Holocaust in the Soviet Union.
Rubenstein's book by the same name provides a revelatory compilation of testimonies from Jews who survived open-air massacres and other atrocities carried out by the Germans and their allies in the occupied Soviet territories during World War II—Ukraine, Belorussia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Crimea.
Cosponsored by Jewish Studies, History, Politics, and the East Europe Initiative.
Free and open to the public.
