About Intercom
Welcome to Intercom -- information central for Ithaca College.
You can rely on Intercom to bring you news from around our campuses, important announcements, information about major events (concerts, lectures, plays, etc.), reports of special achievements -- in short all the things that matter to us as a college community.
But Intercom is not just a place to get news. You can also comment on stories, post stories directly to some sections, and submit for approval stories for other sections. Simply use your e-mail username and password to log in and take part in the interchange of information.
There are three ways to contribute:
- Comments -- At the bottom of each story, there is a link for making comments. If you want to add something to the information in the story, comment on it, even contradict it, just go to the comment area and publish it to the website.
- Contribute a story -- We encourage all Ithaca College faculty and staff to log in and share their campus news. Some stories may be posted directly, depending on the section they appear in. Other stories pass through an editorial review before they are published. That process will, in many cases, take less than a day to complete, and never more than three business days.
- Letters -- If you would like to comment on something that is not part of any existing story, you can submit a letter. It will appear in the "Letters" area of Intercom.
