Audition Day Schedule
- 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. -- Registration and light continental breakfast; McHenry Lobby
- 9:30 - 10:20 a.m. -- Concert and remarks from Dean and Director of Music Admission; Ford Hall
- 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. -- Meet performance faculty
- 11:05 a.m. -- Sight-singing exams commence (undergraduate applicants only)
- 11:05 a.m. -- Q&A with the deans; Hockett Recital Hall
- 11:15 a.m. -- Auditions commence
- 12:00 p.m. -- Financial aid presentation; Hockett Recital Hall

Auditions will be located in the J.J. Whalen Center for Music.
Parking
All parking lots are open and free to the public on the weekend. We recommend that you park in G Lot (limited spaces), F Lot, or J Lot. If you park in J Lot, the Baker Walkway will lead to the Whalen Center for Music. We do not recommend parking in the Visitor Parking Lot, as it is long walk to the Whalen Center.
Inclement Weather
Auditions will proceed regardless of inclement weather. If you are unable to attend your audition due to travel difficulties, please contact our office to reschedule. If this occurs on the last audition date, you will need to contact our faculty members to schedule a special audition, or send a video recorded audition.

The closest hotels to Ithaca College are the Country Inn and Suites and La Tourelle.

Accompanists (Vocalists Only)
Voice applicants are required to perform with an accompanist. Undergraduate applicants who audition at regional sites must provide their own accompanists. For auditions in Ithaca, applicants may provide their own accompanist or use an Ithaca College staff accompanist. The fee for this service is $25 for undergraduate applicants and $35 for graduate applicants. Checks should be made payable to "Ithaca College" and presented to the registration desk on the audition day. Music for the accompanist must be bound, clear, legible, and stay open and flat. Applicants must also provide original, published versions of their repertoire for the voice faculty at the audition.
Practice Rooms
Practice rooms are available for use before your audition. Practice rooms are also open and available on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday until midnight.
Concerts and Events
If you are arriving early or staying late, you are encouraged to attend one of the 300 concerts our students and faculty present each year.
