Information for contributors:
- The Editorial Board of MTSNYS welcomes submissions on a broad range of subjects in music theory. Theory and Practice uses blind review.
- All contributors should submit three anonymous copies, doubled spaced throughout and with ample margins.
- Manuscripts should be of moderate length (5,000–10,000 words).
- Use the author-title system of documentation, as explained in ch. 17 of the Chicago Manual of Style.
- Theory and Practice uses ASA pitch designations (middle C = C4).
- Article submissions should include a cover letter, identifying the author.
- The author of an accepted manuscript will be asked to revise the article (if necessary) to fit the guidelines of the journal and to submit it electronically in DOS or Macintosh format. Please do not send disks or files until requested to do so.
