The Recording Services of the Ithaca College School of Music provides high quality recordings of recitals, concerts, and sessions in the James J. Whalen Center for Music for faculty, students and the community. All performances in the Whalen Center for Music are recorded for archive. If released by the performers they are available for purchase by the public.

To request the various services, please click on the appropriate form below.  Download the form, fill it in with your computer, print it, attach cash or check payment in an envelope, and slip it through the mail slot in the door of room 4104 (by the Hockett Family Recital Hall).  We will process your order as quickly as possible and mail your recordings.

Use the Recording form to purchase a copy of an upcoming performance.  The Broadcast Release form must also be submitted by the performer for us to produce a copy.

Use the Recording Copy form if you would like to purchase a copy of a performance that has already taken place. If it is your performance and you have not already done so, you also need to submit a Broadcast Release form.

Use the Recording Session form to set up a recording session in the Whalen Center.

Use the Sound Reinforcement form to request that recording services use the house sound systems to provide playback or use microphones during a performance. 

The Broadcast Release form must be submitted by performers before any copies of the performance can be produced.
