Townsend Plant ’97, M.M. ’00, director of music admission programs since 2001, will soon take on the position of director of admissions and financial aid for Indiana University’s School of Music in Bloomington, one of the largest schools of music in the country. He recently completed a doctorate in guitar performance at the Eastman School of Music. Associate dean Bill Pelto observed, “Even though we’ll miss Townsend, it’s a source of great pride to us that the work he’s done here has led him to such an impressive career advancement.”
