Diane Gayeski, dean of Roy H. Park School of Communications
Picking a major can be a difficult decision for many college students, but Gayeski told MSN.com that if your career path ultimately doesn’t match up with your major, there’s no reason to panic. “If students find that they’ve picked the wrong major and don’t want to start at square one, there are many options,” says Gayeski. “One can take elective courses that will provide preparation for some internship experience or for graduate school or perhaps even a non-degree certificate. Students can also often gain important skills through clubs.”
