The TV station covered Bradwell’s keynote speech for the Freedom Fund Awards Dinner of the Elmira/Corning branch of the NAACP. Bradwell said this years’ theme, “We Shall Not Be Moved,” is a reminder of the racial issues in the community that still need to be tackled today. "I imagine Corning and Elmira are similar to Ithaca- graduation rates for students of color, housing employment, housing, all things that have been studied...and are issues for us to address and to bring racial justice in the years to come," he said.
