Performance by the Woodwind Chamber Ensembles; 7 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center.

Performance by the Sinfonietta and Campus Choral Ensemble, conducted by James Mick and Susan Avery, playing works by Schubert, Saint Saents, Corelli, Grieg and Holst; 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

THEATRE
Ithaca College Theatre production of “Mere Mortals,” a collection of one-act plays from the comic pen of David Ives; 8 p.m., Clark Theatre, Dillingham Center (admission charged).

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 4
MUSIC
Faculty recital by pianist Nathan Hess, playing works by Corigliano, Perle, Rorem and Barber; 7 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center.

Performance by the Wind Ensemble, led by Frank Battisti, the Col. Arnald Gabriel ’50 HSRMU ’89 Visiting Wind Conductor; and Stephen Peterson, playing works by Stravinsky, Milhaud, Zare and Bryant; 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

SCREENING
Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen showing of “How to Survive a Plague,” the story of how activism and innovation turned AIDS from a death sentence into a manageable condition; 7 p.m., Textor 101.

CONTINUING EXHIBIT
“Sumus: Figurative Sculpture Through the Ages,” an exhibit of works by Benjamin Entner including inflatable statuary, fictitious museum labels, live performance, historical reference, sarcasm and parody; running through Dec. 15, Handwerker Gallery, Gannett Center. The gallery is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon–5 p.m.
