Andrée Mastrosimone, president and owner of Calm & Sense Communications, Ltd. has over 20 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications, specifically in the areas of strategic planning, executive coaching, copywriting/ speechwriting, creative direction, and project/media production management.
Founded in 1992 (and incorporated in 2005), her company is a NYS-Certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and specializes in the development and multi-media execution of integrated communication strategies that align with and support an organization’s business goals.
Calm & Sense Communications’ clients include some of Rochester’s largest corporations and institutions including Bausch & Lomb, Constellation Brands, Eastman Kodak Company, ITT Industries, RF Harris, Rochester General Health System, Rochester Institute of Technology, Sage Rutty & Company, Unity Health System, Wegmans, and Xerox Corporation. Prior to owning her own business, Ms. Mastrosimone worked for Eastman Kodak Company (1988 – 1992) in various marketing and employee communications positions. She was promoted annually and became the youngest manager in the Communications & Public Affairs division at Kodak, reporting two levels below the CEO of the company.
Ms. Mastrosimone is a board member on the Fairport, NY Office of Economic & Community Development and a Curriculum Advisory Committee member for Ithaca College’s School of Communications. She lives in Fairport, NY with her husband Rodney and has three children, Christopher (20), Alexandra (18), and Olivia (16).
