|IMC Alumni ProfilesVictoria Probert, '13, The Distillery Project|
Victoria is a copywriter at The Distillery Project in Chicago, IL. This small boutique was started by Leo Burnett Chicago’s previous Chief Creative Officer, John Condon. This year, for the second time, The Distillery Project was awarded Ad Age’s Small Agency of the Year. She landed this job after a year at The Chicago Portfolio School (CPS). While attending CPS, two of her student campaigns, 7-11 Coffee and Paulina Meat Market, were awarded CPS's Best of Quarter, for best headline and best art direction.
“I am very lucky to be working exactly where I wanted to. At The Distillery Project, I’m one of seven people, so I am being mentored by incredible people, who are truly wise beyond their years. One thing that’s always been important to me is community. Ithaca solidified that. Professionally, I’ll be forever pursuing an Ithacan kind of culture - but as a creative that’s easy - because my agency will never rule out jeans or tie dye as acceptable office attire."
