Our fall job & internship fair is a good event to attend if you are looking for: spring interns, December graduates, or are trying to get a head start on your recruiting for May graduates. Our annual Etiquette Dinner is held on the evening of the information fair and provides an additional opportunity to interact with our students.

Take an Ithacan to Work Days
November 11 & 12, 2008 

Showcase your Ithaca-based company and our vibrant community while connecting with a student interested in your profession. Host an Ithaca College student shadow for a day to:

Share your words of wisdom (all those things you wish you had known when starting your career), entice students to become part of our community and promote your company to potential new employees.

Mock Interview Day

Mock Interview Day provides students with the opportunity to have a practice interview with an actual employer from the community. It's a great way to build visibility for your company, while helping students improve their interviewing skills!

Career And Internship Connection
Multiple Dates, Multiple Locations

Co-Sponsored by Ithaca College and 17 other schools, Career and Internship Connection (CIC) events are held over winter break in: Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago and San Francisco.

CIC offers students the opportunity to pre-apply for job and internship interviews that are held the day of each event. There is also a career fair where students can network with prospective employers and schedule interviews the day of the event.

Take an Ithacan to Work Day
March 19, 2008 Showcase your company and our vibrant community while connecting with a student interested in your profession during “Take an Ithacan to Work Day.” Students will shadow local professionals through this new program sponsored by the Ithaca College Office of Career Services in partnership with Ithaca Forward.

What makes a shadow experience successful for both employers & students?

  • Participation by motivated students & knowledgeable professional
  • Time is dedicated for the student get to know your company (& maybe become interested in working for you)
  • Discussion of your career experiences & observation of you conducting your job duties (with time for discussion of those responsibilities)
  • Contact after the shadow day is over for mentoring or networking

Central New York Communications Consortium
April 14, 15, 16, 2008

The Central New York Communications Consortium is co-sponsored by five of New York's most competitive communications programs (Ithaca College, Syracuse University, Cornell University, LeMoyne College, Colgate College). Held annually at Syracuse University, hundreds of students participate in this three day event as well as, many of the top companies in the field of communications. It is our goal to provide both students and employers with a comfortable, efficient and cost effective setting in which to discuss opportunities.
