SACL Fall Social

Monday, November 21,2011

Time: 2:00- 5:00pm

Location: IC Square


We’ll have food (including gluten-free options), a gingerbread house making competition, and be raffling off great prizes for Caring and Sharing and Chapel Emergency Fund.


For Gingerbread Competition:

You will complete in teams of 3. If interested, indicate it on your reply to Evite or let Doreen know. We’ll create teams containing members of different offices so you can get to know members of the Division. We’ll have awesome prizes for the winners!


For Raffle:

-          Attending the event = 1 ticket

-          Donating a non-perishable or canned item = 1 ticket per item donated (the more food you donate, the more tickets you get!)

-          Tickets for purchase:
    $1 = 1 ticket
    $5 = 6 tickets
    $10 = # of tickets that equal one Hettich-Atkins arms length (about 12)


For Baskets:

Each year SACL includes a fundraiser for Caring and Sharing and the Chapel Emergency Fund at our fall social. All offices within the division are encouraged to donate a gift basket to be entered into a raffle. Anything can be included in the basket, so get creative! Perhaps some gift cards to local shops and restaurants, bottles of wine from your favorite vineyard, movie night or coffee/tea themed baskets - the sky's the limit! There is no monetary minimum or maximum, but please note your office's basket cannot be purchased using College funds.  Please bring baskets to the event or drop them off in advance to Doreen's Office (340 Egbert Hall).  Remember every dollar we earn raffling the baskets goes directly to Caring and Sharing and the Chapel Emergency fund to help students and staff on campus!
