2012 MLK Day of Service
"Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
One of Dr. King's greatest visions was a world with communities working together to address their challenges. MLK Day of Service is an opportunity for students in the IC community to perform service at organizations and agencies in the Greater Ithaca area. It is our time to remember that we have a responsibility to provide for our local community. We are excited to be partnering with several non-profit organizations this year, including:
- Salvation Army of Ithaca
- Love Knows No Bounds
- Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library
- Beechtree Care Center
- Books Thru Bars
- Sciencenter
- The Historic State Theater
- Tompkins County Public Library
- Museum of the Earth
- Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts
