Protestant Community

About Us

The Protestant Community at Ithaca College is a student-led fellowship of ecumenical Christians who choose to live their lives according to Jesus’ teachings. Open, welcoming, and affirming to all who join us, we look to accentuate our similarities rather than focus on our differences. Belonging to the Body of Christ, PC students have a deep respect for the beliefs all individuals bring to our group knowing that there is a wide range of faith journeys, traditions and practices that all contribute  to the richness of the community.

Guided by our Chaplain, the Reverend Meredith Ellis, and two part-time Associate Chaplains, the Rev. James K. Boodley and Pastor Robert Earl, the PC shares activities of worship, fellowship, service, and Bible Study in an effort to provide a fun, meaningful, and nurturing environment to enhance each other’s lives while at IC. As part of our outreach, work trip, and service programming, our aim is to bring Christian values outside our campus to the world beyond in service to others. We strive to walk paths expressing care and concern for all of God’s children.
