Evensong
Evensong is a student led worship service consisting of music, witness, fellowship and prayer. Beginning at 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays in Muller Chapel join us to praise God through song, individual student stories of faith, and small prayer groups. Each gathering begins with food and fellowship prior to the service. Come join us to worship God and meet new community members.
Once the service begins enjoy high-energy contemporary music played by our own student praise band.
After the music stay for small group prayer circles, an opportunity to get to know more people in the community, as well as share concerns and joys about life. Bring your prayers and Christian spirit to gain and give encouragement and support during prayer groups.
Evensong Band
The Evensong band for the 2009-2010 school year is led by junior Music Education & Flute Performance major Amelia Baran. The Praise band practices on Wednesdays before Evensong at 8:30pm and seeks to practice the music for worship, in addition to providing a fellowship opportunity for the musicians who come out weekly.
While many of the members have been with the band for awhile we are always willing, needing and ready for new members - if you make the effort to come out, we'll find you a place to worship the Lord through music. So when you get a chance come down to the chapel or contact Amelia.
