Evensong Band
The Evensong band is led by senior recording major Mike Fowler. The Praise band practices on Wednesdays before Evensong at 8:30pm and seeks to practice the music for worship, in addition to providing a fellowship opportunity for the musicians who come out weekly. While many of the members have been with the band for awhile we are always willing, needing and ready for new members - if you make the effort to come out, we'll find you a place to worship the Lord through music. So when you get a chance come down to the chapel or contact Mike.
Evensong is a student led worship service consisting of music, fellowship and prayer. Begining at 10pm Wednesday night come down to Muller Chapel to enjoy student talks relating to life and spirituality. Each service begins with fellowship and food prior to the service. Come and meet new community members and get snack.
Once the service begins enjoy some high-energy contemporary worship songs, played by our own student praise band.
After the music stay for a small group prayer circle where you can not only get to know more people in the community, but also share concerns and joys about life. We all need support and there is plenty of that here so bring your prayers and praises and stay for prayer groups.
