Cortaca Hours

Thanksgiving Break Hours

  • Regular hours end Friday, 11/20 at 2:00 p.m.
  • Closed Saturday 11/21 and Sunday 11/22
  • Monday 11/23 and Tuesday 11/24 OPEN 11:00-2:00 p.m.
  • Closed Wednesday 11/25 through Sunday 11/29
  • Monday, 11/30 OPEN @ 7:00 a.m.

Fitness Center Policies

  • Bring a pair of clean shoes to change into or you will be denied access into the gym (year-round policy).
  • The Fitness Center is open to all the members of the campus community which include students, faculty, staff and Longview.
  • The Recreational Sports Department is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings.
  • Please lock personal items in a locker (locks provided by Fitness Center). Locks cannot be kept on for more than one day.
  • A valid Ithaca College ID is required to enter the Fitness Center.
  • No open toed shoes may be worn while using the facilities.
  • Cardio workouts are limited to 30 minutes when people are waiting to use equipment.
  • Please wipe down equipment after use.
  • If you need a spotter, please ask for help from another participant or the facility monitor in the exercise area.

Guest Policies

Academic Year (while classes are in session) Faculty, staff and students may bring a guest to use the Fitness Center for $5.00 per day, payment must be cash or a check made out to "Ithaca College".  The sponsor of the guest must remain in the building while their guest is in the facility.

Breaks and Intercession- Spouses, qualified domestic partners and dependents (at least 16 years of age) may use the Fitness Center free of charge during all breaks. The guest will present his or her “summer” ID card to the front desk, but it will not be activated during the academic year.  Showing the ID card is simply proof of identifying yourself to the fitness center staff.   If guests do not have a card, the main office in the fitness center will check with Human Resources verifying your relationship with Ithaca College. 

Members of the campus community may bring a guest to use the Fitness Center at any time for $5.00 per day during breaks, payment must be cash or a check made out to "Ithaca College".
