Robert Holt, leader of the Office of Public Safety at Ithaca College, has announced that he will step down as director as of May 31, 2008. Over the course of the next year, Bob will continue to work with the officers of the department on special weapons and tactics training.

Bob identified this time to focus on the development and delivery of the important training that campus law enforcement requires, given the events of the past few years. Ithaca College will be fortunate to benefit from these efforts in the upcoming academic year.

The class is offered through the efforts of the Ithaca College AED Committee. This Adult CPR/AED class is available for immediate sign-ups.

A test of the Ithaca College Emergency Notification System (ENS) will take place during the noon hour on Thursday, March 6.

Faculty, staff, and students who have not already done so are strongly encouraged to sign up for the College's Emergency Notification System (ENS) prior to the test of the system that will take place during the noon hour this Thursday, March 6. The ENS uses voice, e-mail, and text messaging to provide time-sensitive information and details on appropriate responses during critical situations.
