Student Auxiliary Safety Patrol

FAQs

As a SASP member would I receive any special privileges?
SASP employees are expected to follow all of the policies set forth by the College.  However, because of training responsibilities, SASP members are able to return to campus one week before the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.  Also, SASP members are able to work special events, such as concerts and sporting events, allowing them to attend the event without having to pay the price of admission.

For what violations of the student conduct code can a SASP member actually report me?
SASP members may refer students judicially for certain violations of the Student Conduct Code to include Noise, Underage Possession of Alcohol, and Public Urination.  They would report other Student Conduct Code violations, acts of vandalism, suspicious cirumstatnces, etc. to a Public Safety officer.
