General Information
Ithaca College offers camps for children 6-18 years old to build skills and confidence in a variety of programs. All camps take place in the College's fine facilities, and all are directed by Ithaca College varsity coaches and other experienced instructors.
Campers may participate in more than one camp and may attend as many weeks as they like. To ensure an optimal environment for training and instruction, the College limits enrollment. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until two weeks before the start of each camp.
Upon acceptance of the application, completed health form, and payment, each camper receives a letter from the camp director that details the camp schedule, what to bring, arrival and departure times and procedures, and the rules and regulations of the College and camp.
Age Groups -- Each camp is designed for a specific age group. Sports camp participants are divided into groups according to age and ability level.
Meals -- Some camps include lunch in the dining hall or offer box lunches. See the camp description for meal arrangements. Meals on campus are served cafeteria-style, with a wide choice of hot and cold entrées, vegetables, fruit, salads, and desserts.
Health Form -- In addition to the registration form, each participant must provide immunization and medical insurance information and a physician's statement certifying that the camper is able to participate. Registration forms will not be accepted without a completed health form.
Liability Release--Liability release forms must be completed and returned by all campers who plan to attend an Ithaca College Summer Camp. Registrations will not be accepted with a completed liability release form.
Medical Services -- The College's health center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Minor injuries and health problems are treated by the camp trainer or the College staff nurse. A College physician is also available during regularly scheduled hours each day. If necessary, referrals are made to local physicians and medical facilities on a fee-for-service basis. Payment of fees incurred for off-campus physician visits and/or medication is the responsibility of the camp participant or her/his family.
Rules and Regulations -- All campers are required to comply with the rules and regulations of Ithaca College and the camps. A statement of the rules and regulations along with specific camp information will be sent to each camper upon acceptance of the application, completed health form, and payment. Violation of these rules and regulations may result in dismissal from the camp without a refund.
Fees and Registration -- See each camp description for fees. Full payment and a completed health form must accompany each registration form and must be received two weeks before the start of camp. MasterCard, Discover, and Visa payments are accepted, as are checks and money orders. Space is limited; and registrations -- by mail, by fax, or in person -- will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The late fee for registrations received less than two weeks before the start of camp is $25.00. If a registration is canceled before camp starts, a full refund, less an administrative fee of $25.00, will be made.
Camp Cancellation Policy -- In the event of insufficient enrollment the College reserves the right to cancel any camp session, with full refund, on two weeks' notice.
