Workshops
Starting in Fall 2012, all new School of Business students are required to complete a four-year professional preparedness curriculum (BLPP curriculum) which pairs a series of sequential workshops/seminars with real world learning experiences. The goal of this currciulum is to provide students with the essential skills and strategies they need to be effective in their chosen career.
Click on the links below to find out about each workshop, the dates the workshops are offered each semester, and to register.
- Workshop #1: Making Success a Habit
- Workshop #2: All-Star Interviewing
- Workshop #3: Securing Stellar Internships
- Workshop #4: The Tool Kit
Students enrolled prior to Fall 2012 are not required to attend these workshops, however they will receive 2 SLIs toward their Leading Self Certificate if they do attend. (Students that attend the Tool Kit may receive additional SLIs if noted.)
Additional workshops are offered throughout the year based on requests from students, organizations, or faculty. This spring an Internship Basics workshop will be offered monthly during the "dead hour."
