Run by Exercise & Sport Science students under the direction of faculty, the Wellness Clinic serves the need of the campus faculty and staff and affiliated members of the community. Students take charge of all aspects of the clinic; getting practical experience at personal training, physical performance testing, counseling, teaching exercise classes, and holding "Talks by the Treadmill." The Clinic is fully equipped for graded exercise testing with ECG and metabolic measurements, pulmonary function analyses, strength testing, and flexibility testing. A full spectrum of cardio equipment, strength training equipment, balance training, and functional training devices can be found.
The Clinic not only serves as a practical training ground, but provides another "lab" space for research projects. A key feature of the Clinic is that at any given time students can be seen hanging out together in the Clinic's resource room or working out side by side with Exercise & Sport Sciences faculty.
