Department Information

The Department of Environmental Studies and Science

The Ithaca College Department of Environmental Studies and Science is dedicated to educating students to become active inquirers and socially engaged leaders empowered to create a sustainable future.

The Ithaca College Department of Environmental Studies and Science will develop nationally prominent educational and research programs that will benefit all of our constituencies and, in so doing, will become a first choice program for students with strong interests in environmental issues. We also aspire to provide every Ithaca College student with the foundations of ecological literacy that will empower them to be active and responsible citizens.

We embrace a trans-generational perspective of global environmental stewardship.

•    Integrity and Ethics
We are guided by professional integrity, academic honesty, and personal respect.
