Ithaca College PT Striders Join the Fight Against Breast Cancer
Physical Therapy graduate students, faculty, staff and friends walked with about 8000 others in the 14th annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" fundrasing event in Rochester on October 4, 2009. Over $775,000 was raised at this event for the American Cancer Society. The walk started at Frontier Field and followed the parade route through downtown on Main Street.
More than a walk, the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer describes the progress we're making together to fight this disease, provide comfort and hope, and save lives from breast cancer. Making Strides is not a race; it is a celebration of survivorship, and a time to share in the camaraderie of thousands of other people in a shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love.
Thank you Ithaca College PT Striders for your efforts in support of breast cancer research, the survivors and their families and friends.
