My name is Will Holets and I’m an Outdoor Adventure Leadership (OAL) major.
Ithaca is actually my hometown, and I’m proud of it! Let me tell you a little bit about my interests. Rock climbing is my obsession, but I also love to hike, slackline, jump off waterfalls, spend days on the river, and write.
I chose OAL because I love being outside and believe such an attitude is contagious; I want to get people involved with the natural world on a more emotional level.
In terms of curriculum, the program at Ithaca offers an extraordinary amount of field experience, which truly gets the student immersed and experienced in the field. we need the experience and outdoor serves as our laboratory.
