The next Sustainability Café will be held on Thursday, March 5, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in room 301 of the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise. The focus of the presentation will be on how to capitalize on information about how potential customers feel about environmentally friendly products and services. The featured presenters will be Amy Hebard '73 and Wendy Cobrda, founders of Earthsense LLC.

Earthsense, LLC, provides market data on consumer attitudes toward green products and services. Recognizing that companies rely on consumer and customer intelligence that allows them to stand out from the crowd and strengthen bonds with their consumers, Earthsense uses proprietary data fusing and modeling techniques to produce more relevant and actionable data for clients -- what they term "getting earthsense."

Earthsense focuses on sustainability as not only aligned with their company values, but because founders Amy Hebard '73 and Wendy Cobrda believe that the changes influenced by the "green" movement will forever change the way products are manufactured, distributed, bought, consumed, and disposed of.

This Sustainability Café is being held in conjunction with the School of Business Sustainability Committee.

"Teachable edibles" -- seasonal, organic, and/or local foods -- for the spring Sustainability Café series are being supported by Ithaca College Dining Services. Please bring your reusable mug and fill up at the drinking fountain or provide your beverage of choice.

All Sustainability Café events are free and open to the public.
