The Kalavasos and Maroni Built Environments Project is a NSF funded study of how persons of elite status expressed their power through architecture and urban planning. This is the fourth and final expedition under the current funding. The total area covered to date is 25 acres while taking a reading every 5 cm in one direction and 25-50 cm in the other direction. This year's surveys have uncovered evidence for additional buildings that are part of the Late Bronze Age coastal community at the site of Maroni-Tsaroukkas.
