Contributed by Karenn Reeter

Lis will serve as President of the Affinity Library group for 2013/2014. Members of the group include 33 comprehensive colleges and universities across the country.

The group compiles annual statistical data and develops programming of relevance to its members. Lis will lead an initiative that will focus on the development of a survey of faculty research practices and use of library resources at member libraries. The survey will be collaboratively developed and administered by the Ithaka S+R organization, a research and consulting service that helps academic, cultural, and publishing communities in making the transition to the digital environment. Ithaka S+R is part of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organization that also includes JSTOR. The survey is projected to be administered in Spring 2014 and the results will be reviewed at the Summer 2014 annual meeting of the Affinity Library Group in Las Vegas, Nevada.
