The always amazing Beehive Design Collective will be at IC to present their latest Mural on October 8 in Textor 102 at 7:00pm!

Two storytellers will be on campus to discuss how - through extensive community immersion in Central America - the Beehive is attempting to illustrate, document and share diverse stories of survival, community development, and collective action that calls into question the purpose and benefit of "Proyecto Mesoamerica."

"Mesoamerica Resiste" illustrates stories of resistance, resilience, and solidarity from Mexico to Colombia. This presentation will feature two awesome storytellers who will highlight tales of community opposition to megadevelopment projects, and the collaboratively crafted graphic that accompanies their story provides an accessible way to learn about the impacts of colonialism and the global economy on the cultural and ecological diversity of the region.
