Denise Nuttall (Anthropology) presents and teaches in India

Prof. Nuttall presented a lecture, a paper, and seminars at the University of Mysore during the summer

She presented an Interdisciplinary Lecture at the University of Mysore, Centre for Canadian Studies on July 16th entitled "Soundscapes and Ethnographic Writing: Explorations in the Ethnography of Sound". Additionally she conducted seminars with graduate students in English Literature and Canadian Studies in the area of Ethnographic Writing. A second paper was delivered at an affiliated campus of the University of Mysore, the Mahajana First Grade College, titled "Rhythm, Sounds and Ethnography: Some Notes" on July 17th.
