Stephen Tropiano, associate professor and director of the Los Angeles Program, moderated a panel at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood, California entitled THE PRIME TIME CLOSET - 10 YEARS LATER.

Using Tropiano's 2002 book, The Prime Time Closet: A History of Gays and Lesbians on TV, as a springboard, the panel featured Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black), Amber Tamblyn (Two and a Half Men), Andrew Rannells (Girls, The New Normal), Sherri Saum (The Fosters), and Dan Bucatinsky (Scandal).
