"Summertime and the living is easy," goes the lyric¹ with the residence halls at Ithaca College hardly empty. Throughout the summer, traditional residence halls not being renovated or otherwise reserved for Orientation students are used to house student summer employees², summer session students³, and a myriad of conference groups.

The Summer Housing office in Eastman Hall is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning Senior week and continuing through the week prior to Fall opening. Applications for Summer Housing will be available in March at the Office of Conference and Event Services which is located off the main lobby of the Campus Center.

SPECIAL NOTE: Only traditional residence halls are used for Summer Housing accommodations.

² Only Ithaca College students working full-time in an on-campus summer job are eligible for on-campus housing during the summer months.

³ Only students registered for classes during Summer Sessions I or II are eligible for on-campus housing during the summer months (housing for May Term is not available).

All residence halls and apartments at Ithaca College are smoke free. Students and guests may not smoke in any room, suite, apartment, or any other space within a residence hall including lounges, hallways, stairwells, laundry facilities, and bathrooms, nor on its balconies.
