The paper titled "The Long View: Light, Vision, and Visual Culture After Galileo," was presented at the Sixth Conference on the Inspiration of Astronomical Phenomena in Venice, Italy, October 18-23, 2009. The conference was hosted at the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, with the collaboration of the University of Padua.
