Amy has had the pleasure of being an instructor of dance since the fall of 2003. She earned her B.F.A in performance in 1997 from the State University of New York at Purchase. Shortly after she graduated she was accepted under the directorship of the late Mary Day into The Washington Ballet. There she felt honored to have danced at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C by works choreographed by Choo-San-Goh, Nils Christie, Jiri Kylian and Philip Jerry. After many seasons dancing with The Washington Ballet she moved to Connecticut where she danced with the Connecticut Ballet, Bernier Dance Company and the Sono Dance Company.  There she performed many classical roles in Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and Cinderella with the private coaching from Christina Fagundes and Ben Huys. Her choreography has been seen in Connecticut, ACDFA, Ithaca College, and most recently at the Locally Grown Dance Festival in Ithaca. She is an advisor for the dance companies," On the Floor" and "IC UNBOUND" and advsor to many many dance minors.
