April Work/Life Line: MyFitnessPal Mobile App

Have you heard of MyFitnessPal? If not, it’s a great resource that you can use every day to help achieve your health goals! MyFitnessPal is a smartphone app and website that can help you track your daily physical activity, nutrition, and nutrient intake. It’s easy to use, free, and includes many helpful ways to make healthy choices:

  • Easily keep track of food and nutrition intake by either searching for foods you’ve eaten or scanning its barcode into the app
  • Track exercise progress and calories burned by simply entering the activity and exertion level
  • Create fitness goals and easily track progress
  • Using MyFitnessPal is easy even when you eat on campus – its food database includes Sodexo products!

Put your new mobile app to use on our Eating on Campus tours!  

Join us for all three of our Eating on Campus tours to learn about the wide variety of food choices offered right here at IC! Each tour will include visits to different Sodexo dining locations across campus, as well as explanations of each of their unique offerings and products. 

Tour One: April 4th, 11:30am-12:30pm – Meet at Terrace Dining Hall: We will start at Terrace Dining Hall to learn about its wide variety of offerings including Kosher, allergen-free, and home-style options. We will also visit the CHS Coffee Cart and Café @ the Business School for quick, on-the-go options. RSVP to benefits@ithaca.edu and click here for the Events Calendar. 

Tour Two: April 9th, 11:30am-12:30pm – Meet at Towers Dining Hall: We will begin at Towers dining hall to explore its Asian and local options, then visit Sub Connection and the new Library Café. RSVP to benefits@ithaca.edu and click here for the Events Calendar.

Tour Three: May 8th, 11:30am-12:30pm – Meet at Café @ the Park School: We will start at Café @ the Park school for quick snack, lunch, and coffee options, then go learn about Grand Central Café’s smoothie options and the wide variety of foods available at Campus Center Dining Hall and the Food Court.
