Ayana joined the college a little over a year as the Assistant Dean for the School of Business. She has worked in higher education for over 10 years and held positions in Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Service at other institutions before moving to IC. She is no stranger to the area however, having moved to Ithaca from Chicago as a kid and spending the majority of her life here. 

Although Ayanna loves Ithaca, she also is admittedly stricken with wanderlust. If you opened her passport you’d see she’s traveled all over including, the Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, and Africa! So if you looking for some advice on travel, you know the person to talk to.

Ayana loves getting out in the community and you’ll probably see her at North Star House in Fall Creek grabbing a bite to eat with friends or walking around on the commons at one of the many outdoor festivals in Ithaca. 

Ayana is happy to be here at the college and look forward to growing in her position.
