Benefits Reenrollment via Benefits Self-Service



This procedure covers making changes to your benefits during the Benefits Reenrollment Period using Parnassus Benefits Self-Service.


Changes to an employee’s benefits can only be made during the specified Benefits Reenrollment Period via Benefits Self-Service.

Activity Preface

This activity is performed during the annual benefits reenrollment period.  Any changes made via Benefits Self-Service (BSS) must occur as part of Ithaca College’s Annual Benefits Reenrollment Process.  The Benefits Reenrollment Period lasts for two weeks, November 9 to November 22, 2009.  During that time you will be given the option to make any allowable changes.  All changes made via BSS must be submitted within the Benefits Reenrollment Period; no changes will be allowed before or after the specified dates of the Benefits Reenrollment Period.

For help with viewing your current benefits and your benefits history, refer to Viewing Benefits Information in Employee Self-Service.  The job title Benefits Eligible Employee refers to

1.   Access Employee Self-Service

Refer to Accessing Employee Self-Service

2.   Select IC Employee Self Service.




3.   Click the Benefits Self-Service hyperlink.

4.   Review your Family Members, Beneficiaries and Other Contacts.

You cannot add or modify your contact details.  If you find that the contact(s) listed are not complete or are inaccurate, you must update your contact information by completing an Add Beneficiary/Contact Form.  Once you have completed the form, please fax it to the Benefits Department at 274-1670 to have your contacts updated.
