Higher education is one of the best investments you can make for your future. The Office of Student Financial Services works in partnership with students and parents to help them realize their dream of a great Ithaca education.

Below you'll find the information and resources you'll need throughout the financial aid process. Spending a little time to sort out your options is a smart bet -- our students receive a total of roughly $145 million in financial aid every year to help them get ahead.

Have you been offered a Federal Direct Loan as part of your financial aid?  Please look to our downloadable documents section for the steps you will need to take in order to process your loan.

New Students to Ithaca College:

The priority deadline to apply for need-based financial aid for 2010-2011 was February 1, 2010. We  require the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the College Scholarship Service (CSS) PROFILE application.  Apply now if you haven't already done so!

Application Process

Current and Continuing Students:

Did you know that you need to complete and submit a FAFSA each year to renew your financial aid?  Click on the appropriate link on the left to find detailed instructions for submitting your FAFSA online.  For 2010-2011 the priority filing deadline date is March 1, 2010.

We will be replacing the Federal Stafford Loan, PLUS, and Graduate PLUS programs with the Federal Direct Loan Program.  Click on "Frequently Asked Questions" to the left for detailed information on this change.

Do you need Summer 2010 financial aid?  Be sure to complete the Summer 2010 Aid Application.  It's available under our downloadable forms section of this website.
