Josie's first job out of college was with AMC Networks working in international development and acquisitions for their new programming. In less than one year, she was promoted from assistant to coordinator—quite a leap!
While at Ithaca, she was active in ICTV and spent a semester at our ICNYC program, where she interned for the Sundance TV; she did four other internships including Viacom and Mendelson Entertainment group, owned by one of our TVR alumni, Barry Mendelson, in her hometown of Dallas, Texas.
Josie says of her experience here,
"I took many great courses at Ithaca and can easily say I use what I learned in class everyday. I was able to turn my internship in development into a full-time position because I came into it with a foundation of knowledge that I could build on. Now I'm part of a team that develops a range of shows for three networks and a studio. I'm grateful for everything I learned at Park and the hands-on environment the school encourages."
